Union Commodities (Pvt.) Ltd ( ‘ Unicom ’ ) was established in 1985 with the objective of exporting Sri Lanka’s finest quality produce. Founded by three industry veterans, Unicom has grown from being a small scale exporter to one of the largest tea exporters in the island. Since the beginning, our core philosophy of quality has not changed and Unicom continues to offer the finest quality Ceylon tea to the world. Today, Consumers in more than 30 countries enjoy Unicom branded products as well as other products manufactured at Unicom facilities. Today, Unicom has a state of the art self sufficient factory of 310,000 square feet and a fleet of containers. Unicom also holds a distinguished reputation for the export of various food items, ranging from spices, essential oils to desiccated coconut.
