  1. Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea is a sweet and delicious tea known for its relaxing properties. Whether fresh or dried – Chamomile flowers can be infused in hot water to make the tea.

Chamomile tea has been shown in studies to bind to GABA receptors in the brain, assisting in relaxation. In fact medications such as Xanax target the same nervous system receptors as Chamomile tea does, thus why it is well-known as a bedtime tea, that has long been used to aid in sleep.

  1. Green Tea

Green tea is well-known for its medicinal properties. It has been proven in studies to aid with anything from weight loss to blood pressure. Green tea is high in antioxidants and polyphenols, which are beneficial to one’s health. Green tea includes the amino acid L-theanine, which has been found to be effective as a nerve relaxant.

L-theanine has been shown in studies to have direct effects on the brain, as seen by electroencephalograph tests. L-theanine enhances alpha wave activity in the brain, indicating that it can help you relax without making you sleepy.

  1. Passionflower Tea

Made from the blossoms of Passiflora species – the passionflower tea is subtle beverage, with sweet undertones. It has a mellow flavour that blends well with other herbs such as lemongrass and chamomile.

Passionflower tea has long been used as a natural anxiety treatment in Europe. Flavonoids in passionflower tea have been shown to modulate GABA receptors in studies. This herbal tea also contains the flavone chrysin, which has been demonstrated to be just as effective as midazolam, a regularly prescribed anxiety drug, in lowering anxiety.

  1. Rose Tea

Rose tea is a rose-petal infusion that has a moderately sweet flowery flavour. Our Shanghai Rose tea combines fragrant rose petals with delicate Chinese white tea to create a delicious blend.

Rose tea has neuropharmacological effects, according to research. Damask rose tea has hypnotic and analgesic benefits, according to Iranian researchers. The tea promoted deep sleep and shortened the time it took to fall asleep. The tea also has a direct effect on benzodiazepine receptors, just like Xanax and Clonazepam.

The flavonoids in rose tea, according to most studies, are to blame for these advantages. These flavonoids inhibit the synthesis of the stress hormone cortisol and aid in the reduction of inflammation, which reduces the symptoms of stress.

  1. Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea is an energizing tea with a tingling flavour and a pleasant scent that helps to uplift your spirits. Yogis and traditional medicine practitioners use this herb to promote relaxation and boost mood.

Peppermint tea has been proven in experimentation to assist with the modification of the processes of the central and peripheral nervous systems. The phenolic components rosmarinic acid and menthol are thought to be responsible for the tea’s elevating effects.

  1. Lavender Tea

One of the most popular natural cures for anxiety and stress is the lavender essential oil, which is known for its relaxing effects – and one of the most soothing teas in the world is made from this plant.

The aroma of lavender was found to improve deep sleep and can also help you wake up with more vigor. Lavender fragrance increased slow-wave sleep and REM sleep and may also aid in the creation of dopamine, the happy chemical in the brain. At the same time, it lowers cortisol, a stress hormone.
